Giant Pumpkin Festival – POSTPONED
(Mar. 15, 2020) The festival has been postponed to a later date in the year, due to COVID-19 Government Restrictions.
Taking place in the scenic countryside town of Heidelberg in the Western Cape, just 275 km from Cape Town, The Giant Pumpkin Festival is set to become a popular calendar event in the Hessequa region.
There are big prizes up for grabs at the Giant Pumpkin Festival with the biggest pumpkin winning R17,500. And if the World Record is broken, you could win R150,000!
The festival will celebrate, as usual, the Largest Pumpkins in South Africa and also host a Golf Day, a Trail Run, Beer Garden, Luxury Camping (Glamping), Live Music and dance and entertainment for the whole family.
