Christmas in Cape Town
Christmas in Cape Town: don’t think roaring fires, chestnuts and snowflakes! Many of the tourists visiting from the northern hemisphere don’t realize the seasons run opposite to what they are used to: when it is summer north of the equator it is ‘winter’ here and the other way around.
So when we celebrate Christmas (Big Time!), expect braais, summer cocktails and ice cream… Now doesn’t that sound great too?!
